Really fun to eat and much more flavorful than I expected. The shell is crisp, the filling is savory and the tamarind gives it a sharp, refreshing kick.
Crispy hollow shells filled with spiced potatoes and sour water.

This brought back serious Dhaka street-food memories. Crunchy shell, spiced potato, chickpea filling and a tok that was properly tangy instead of just sweet.
The shells had a good crunch and the potato filling had that familiar spice I was hoping for. Once the tamarind water hit, it had the sour-spicy punch that makes proper fuchka impossible to stop eating.
This tasted like the fuchka I grew up craving: spicy potato filling, crunchy shells and tangy tamarind water. Definitely the kind of snack that makes you say 'just one more' five times.
I judge fuchka by the tok, and this one had a nice sour kick with enough chili to keep it exciting. The shells stayed crisp long enough for us to actually enjoy the texture.
This was my first Bengali-style fuchka and the flavor contrast was amazing. You get a crispy shell, soft savory filling, then a burst of tangy-spicy tamarind water all at once.
